The fix is invalid. Because the report descriptor is invalid. You need a special driver similar to hid-holtek-kbd (even though the driver does not look right too). Could you grab the report descriptor? echo '4-1:1.0' > /sys/bus/usb/drivers/usbhid/unbind lsusb -v of that device Change '4-1:1.0' to whatever shows up in dmesg after you plug in the device. But this is not. We need an output of lsusb of the mouse, not a hub. Device number in kernel and for lsusb differ.
