? and the compilation aborts with an error. The quick and dirty hack would be to edit /usr/share/texmf/tex/latex/beamer/themes/theme/compatibility/beamerthemeshadow.sty and comment the \show\ProvidesPackageRCS line. Is there any chance that this can be solved more elegantly?
