returned (hd0,1) grub> root (hd0,1) returned Filesystem type is .... grub>setup (hd0) returned ....succeeded grub>quit reboot
Opensuse boots ok Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: applied windows 7 patches for win 7, the system was a dual bootes with opensuse 11.3. After patching win7 -reboot -grub failed to run - repair grub - reboot - grub now repaired/bootable it can start the operating system selected Actual Results: non booting system. Perhaps have an option to repair bootloader from installation dvd/cd ? Expected Results: would have been nice to have a bootable system but......failed. So It was manually repaired. Here is how it was repaired opensuse starts fine. grub grub> find /boot/grub/menu.ls
