This does not look particularly healthy...
Actually, this is a fix. You will see the same with systemd-210.
Ah thanks for the explanation. There is a knob to selectively "revert" it per user: loginctl enable-linger root # or other usernames which touches /var/lib/systemd/linger/root, which makes that User Manager stay around.
