https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1178463 https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1178463#c3 --- Comment #3 from Lars Marowsky-Bree <lmb@suse.com> --- Just for clarity, I'm pretty sure the cables are not bad; I experience no negative effects otherwise. I don't even know which ports these are. As far as I can tell, all ports are working fine. If I could just stop it retrying whatever it is trying, I'd already be mostly happy? https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1178463 https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1178463#c4 --- Comment #4 from Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.com> --- The relevant bug is bug 1149871, and I provided a test kernel with the revert of a commit: the TW kernel is available at http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/tiwai:/bsc1149871-tw/standar... Could you check with your machine? It's 5.9.x, and not the same as you tested, so it's only for checking whether the reverted commit is relevant or not. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

If I connect the dock after booting and logging in, no USB messages! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

I don't think we can do much about that. Or maybe upstream worked around that in the meantime? In anyway, it would be better to talk to upstream if the issue still persist. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
