Btw: How do you have installed/updated the texlive packages? That is that the spec file scriptlets of every texlive rpm package should be executed as intended as otherwise it can not work at all.

This is a pretty new PC, I bought it in May, installed Tumbleweed on it (in May, don't know the exact date), and at that time ran zypper install latexila texlive-units texlive-bbm texlive-bbm-macros texlive-boxedminipage texlive-animate Since then, I did some zypper dup --no-allow-vendor-change, nothing special.
