I should've said netavark defaults to nftables on RH distributions[1][2](for now), they seem to be transitioning towards nftables. I don't see any hints that we'll do the same anytime soon and hopefully, we'll be aware when, if at all, netavark decides to stick to nftables exclusively. We should be good to go.
