[Bug 1184472] New: [Publishing repo] Conflict between libzzip 0.13.72 and texlive
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1184472 Bug ID: 1184472 Summary: [Publishing repo] Conflict between libzzip 0.13.72 and texlive Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 15.2 Hardware: x86-64 OS: openSUSE Leap 15.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other Assignee: screening-team-bugs@suse.de Reporter: rgb.mldc@gmail.com QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 848078 --> http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/attachment.cgi?id=848078&action=edit YaST2 screenshot [Note: before filling this report, I tried writing a comment in the corresponding build service page(1) and even writing an email to the person that submitted the latest version (got his email from zziplib.changes file), but received no answer] From Publishing repo, I have libzzip 0.13.71-lp152.2.3-x86_64 installed. This repo now have 0.13.72-lp152.2.1-x86_64 but this new version clash with TexLive. YaST2 tells that texlive-luatex-bin-2017.20170520.svn4449-lp152.15.2.x86_64 requires libzzip-0.so.13()(64bit), but this requirement cannot be met and then tries to uninstall most of TexLive as you can see from the attached screenshot. And what is with libzzip-0-13 from Leap 15.2 ... there is no reason to use different a different version
I don't know when version 0.13.71 was pulled in from Publishing, or why libzzip is in Publishing at all, but as I stated on the report, trying to update to 0.13.72 from Publishing means uninstalling most of TexLive, which is not acceptable. Publishing's Libzzip should be fixed or, if all packages work with 0.13.69, removed to avoid conflicts. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Removing is a bad idea as it is the devel tree /local/werner> osc ls Publishing zziplib _link # -> openSUSE:Factory zziplib (latest) baselibs.conf bsc1154002-prevent-unnecessary-perror.patch zziplib-0.13.62.patch zziplib-0.13.72.tar.gz zziplib.changes zziplib.spec -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
