Common problems: - fuse kernel module not installed (modprobe fuse) - invalid options -- see usage message I think i got fuse module loaded, so i think its not a problem here. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

Is it possible that the path to your home directory contains a backslash? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

But, my user id contains backslash as i use Windows Active Directory to login my laptop, eg. my unix id is XYZ\ppa. Now that could explain backslash if encfs somehow uses my id to somewhere and indeed it is in AD-format. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=253985 mszeredi@novell.com changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|ASSIGNED |RESOLVED Resolution| |FIXED ------- Comment #3 from mszeredi@novell.com 2007-03-14 03:51 MST ------- Indeed, fusermount adds the "user=USERNAME" option to /etc/mtab, which explains why it doesn't work. This problem will be fixed in the 2.7.0 fuse release. Until then you can try fuse-2.7.0-pre1 from: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=121684&package_id=140422 You don't have to do a full installation, after building you can just copy util/fusermount to /usr/bin/fusermount and that should fix this problem. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
