The 10.2 kernel does not contain the handler for EPIPE and falls back to generic reset. Some devices can't take that. This hub is connected directly to an usb port of my docking station (IBM minidock for T6x). Often the keyboard crashes, but sometimes all devices. This time only a usb-storage, mouse and keyboard were connected with the docking station. No cinergy dongle and no external usb hub. I was watching a video while I noticed that the LED of my mouse turned off and on again after a second. Internal and external keyboard were dead.
