[Bug 626765] New: segmentation fault in opensc when a smartcard with PKCS11 certificate is inserted
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=626765 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=626765#c0 Summary: segmentation fault in opensc when a smartcard with PKCS11 certificate is inserted Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: e.kunig@home.nl QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; de; rv:1.9.2.8) Gecko/20100723 SUSE/3.6.8-1.1 Firefox/3.6.8 When I insert a smart card (in my case Aladdin eToken) with a valid X.509 certifikate in PKCS11 format, I get segmentation faults in opensc. These can be debugged in firefox. firefox will crash as soon as a smart card with certificate is installed. strongswan pluto also crashes, when ipsec start is called with a connected smart card. But this is harder to debug than firefox. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. insert smart card with X.509 certificate in PKCS11 format 2. start firefox 3. it will crash Actual Results: firefox crashes with a segmentation fault Expected Results: firefox should stay running and see the certificate -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
