In any other situation (like creating a new partition for the root filesystem), the checkbox for snapshots at the Expert Partitioner works as defined by the product.

That's honored even when using the option "import mount points" to reinstall on top of a previous openSUSE system.

In that particular case the .snapshots volume probably has been created in the previous system. If you are for example installing on an existing BTRFS partition that does *not* have a snapshots partition (and /etc/fstab not containing .snapshots mount?), the snapshot volume won't be created. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
