I just testd on a qemu system with serial console and without quiet, everything is correctly redirected to ttyS0. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=737554 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=737554#c5 --- Comment #5 from Sebastian Freundt <devel@fresse.org> 2012-01-13 10:36:34 UTC --- That's true. Well quiet was put there by SuSE by default I think. I didn't add it. Also, why does this affect the console output? According to the docs (kernel-parameters.txt) `quiet' suppresses kernel messages. 2218 quiet [KNL] Disable most log messages To rephrase my question, how do I turn console output on, but kernel printk's off? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
