well, I guess one of the obvious questions is: How long did you wait ;)
30 minutes. Note that I don't have any btrfs file system on any of my disks.
What you or anyone encountering this situation again could do is to get the stack trace in kernel space, e.g. `cat /proc/<pid>/stack` . In the below example that would be `cat /proc/21795/stack` and the same for the second process. Also, it might be helpful to get the list of "blocked tasks", that is magic-sysrq-w (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magic_SysRq_key for details).
