I looked through some of the online repositories and I could not find checkinstall, but I concede my familiarity, specifically with SUSE-11.0 alpha repositories releases, is "weak". These alpha file repositories tend to be ISO files, as opposed to individual rpm files. I tried to find an OSS, Non-OSS, or Update repository for 11.0 alpha (or factory) that had a checkinstall rpm, but I was not able. If I interpret the above reply correctly, the intention is to include checkinstall, and I'm happy to read that. Will check install be included on the "torrent" DVD for SUSE-11.0 beta1 ?
