[Bug 237172] New: YaSt "Network Address Setup" dialog inconsistenly refers to kinternet
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=237172 Summary: YaSt "Network Address Setup" dialog inconsistenly refers to kinternet Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: i386 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: gp@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com The help in the YaST "Network Address Setup" dialog refers to kinternet, and inconsisently so. I believe the references to kinternet should be replaced by NetworkManager? If this is not the case, for some reason, at least we should use the same "markup" and upper-/lower-case in both references. I will attach a screen- shot where I marked the issue in a minute. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

KInternet is oposite of KNetworkManager. First occurience means command 'kinternet', second application KInternet. That's why there are quotes -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

That makes sense. Given that 'kinternet' by itself is not a usual shell command that fulfills the task in question directly with appropriate parameters, but invokes the graphical interface KInternet, and to make the two help paragraphs consistent, could I convince you to convert the occurrence of 'kinternet' to 'KInternet'? I am reopening this as minor only. If you prefer, feel free to mark it is an enhancement. (Since I ran into this, it is not too unlikely that other users may feel similarly which is why I would prefer to change it even though, from a strict logical point of view you certainly do have a point.) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
