How does this happen, more exactly? This really happens randomly, i'm approving the bug, same happens on x86_64 with Ivy Bridge (ASUS N56 Laptop)

Something wrong here. Please try to uninstall both kmps, then install the latest one again, and retest, just to be sure that the latest module is really tested. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

Hello,
I'm experiencing the same bug. Is it fixed by the package by tiwai? I don't see the comment that led to this bug getting closed. Will the patch make it into openSuSE 13.2? System hang seems important enough to me.
Try the kernel in OBS Kernel:openSUSE-13.2 repo. Is it still reproduced? Also, make sure that you're hitting the *very same bug*. The Oops stack trace must be same (intel_crtc_dpms -> intel_crtc_disable_planes). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
