This is heron.suse.de right ? on heron I can see /var/lib/sax/apidata which includes a Path section with the old X11R6 fontpaths. This is the cause of the error but I don't know how this could happen. The sax2 version which is installed on heron is correct. The file /usr/share/sax/api/data/StaticFontPathList contains correct fontpaths I'm pretty sure if you call sax2 -r -a a valid configuration file is produced. I assume another package using libsax caused this. The only package I know is the country module from YaST mainained by Jiri Suchomel <jsuchome@suse.cz>. I had a quick look into the source but I cannot find an error there too. very strange. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=221219 ------- Comment #3 from kkaempf@novell.com 2006-11-15 06:36 MST ------- I clicked the 'keyboard layout' icon in the 'hardware' secition of the yast control center. Apparently, this started sax2. However, I cannot reproduce this bug on heron.suse.de any more. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

I could imagine the following scenario. You did a system upgrade from 10.1 to 10.2 while your X-Server was running. After that you called yast2 keyboard which reads in your current X11 configuration which is old X11R6 based. Saving this could result in the mentioned error. Well I think the post install of the xorg packages should take care for that. Stefan what do you think ? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
