[Bug 404836] New: Hostname Option
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=404836 Summary: Hostname Option Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.0 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Installation AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: andrew@joako.net QAContact: jsrain@novell.com CC: aj@suse.de Found By: Integration Test During installation the user is not prompted for the machine's hostname as it was in prior openSUSE releases. The installer must prompt the user for the system's desired hostname. Actually I noticed *NO* network configuration options are offered during installation. Confirmed by John E. The option simply is not there. It has nothing to do with an error during the install but instead the fact that an element in the interface is not present. This can be verified without logfiles. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
