Seems to be some access rights problem in /tmp. BTW this happens also with newer LyX version available through OBS. The file can be viewed normally with a document viewer (like Okular). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start new LyX file 2. Generate PDF 3. Preview PDF Actual Results: An error message is displayed. Expected Results: The file should be opened with the default document viewer.
