[Bug 541453] New: Pidgin windows don't move to the current workspace as they should
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=541453 Summary: Pidgin windows don't move to the current workspace as they should Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Milestone 7 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: bwhiteley@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: Development In 11.1, clicking the pidgin tray icon brings up the buddy list on my current workspace, regardless of what workspace I left it on. The same is true of the conversation window. In 11.2, When I click on the tray icon, it seems that nothing happens. I have to switch to the workspace containing the buddy list. Also, when I click on a buddy to chat, the conversation window doesn't appear -- I have to switch to the workspace containing the conversation window. This isn't intuitive. The 11.1 behavior is better. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Not likely, you have already upgraded to newer versions of openSUSE, which had a lot more bug fixes. As openSUSE 11.2 is no longer maintained (for a long time already) and I can't seem to reproduce anything similar in openSUSE 12.1 / 12.2 RC, I close the bug as 'FIXED'. Should you be able to reproduce this issue on a newer openSUSE version, please feel to report it again. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
