[Bug 1059297] New: Application dialog shows strange characters and fields are sometimes shown twice
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1059297 Bug ID: 1059297 Summary: Application dialog shows strange characters and fields are sometimes shown twice Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Tumbleweed Version: Current Hardware: Other OS: openSUSE Factory Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other Assignee: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: freek@opensuse.org QA Contact: qa-bugs@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- On my desktop using yast I assume it is using the application "dialog" for the dialogs, when using it on a console with ncurses. I see, a.o., some strange characters when a horizontal line in the middle should be shown. I also use dialog on my Raspberry Pi 1B which shows the same strange character. I also use yast on that Raspberry Pi to configure the network using wicked. Fields that need entering some data are not properly shown. A prompt appears twice and entering input, it is shown on two locations on the screen. When I try "yast network" on my desktop it crashes, but that will be entered as a separate bug report. I will make some screenshots showing the issue. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
