On such laptop suspend to disk (hibernate) takes 65 seconds to complete. On the same laptop under 12.1 and 11.4 with the same setup it takes only 20 seconds. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Install 12.2 with LVM based Proposal and Encrypted Volume Group. 2. 3. Suspend splash screen is broken since 12.1. Suspend splash screen has never worked for me since about 10.x bet it never bothered me (I think it just does not like me). However, suspend was fast up until the kernel update to 3.4.11-2.16-desktop and then went slow. Previous kernel was 3.4.6-2.10. Surely the problem is that 12.2 doesn't have a splash for hibernation, and we should just change the default configuration accordingly and be done with it? This package will not be present in future opensuse versions as it has been replaced by systemd's suspend functionality.
