KWin propably tries to aplly some effects to that pop-up and fails. Disabling notification pop-ups or Desktop Effects helps, but I would prefer both enabled. I don't know (yet) which effect causes the crash, but i'm going to find out. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.enable KWin desktop effects 2.Open Opera, enable mail notification 3.Recieve mail Actual Results: System freezes, most of the time there's partial transparency.
