The same issue with 9.1 version. In fact the first menu is never in X mode, as I can see in the Installation Manual, it's always in text mode. The white screen is just after entering 'linux', 'failsafe' or whatever and the program starts the boot (unfortunately it is not possible to catch the output messages) Trying to install version 9.1 (thinking to update later to 10.1 version) I also use 'manual' mode, at that time the problem appears when the installation program display the 'language choice' menu (in "graphic_dos" display mode), the menu is displayed but some seconds later the screen becomes white again.
