Of course the script parts which changed it in the past are no longer required either, i.e. needs to be removed as well. Requirement for working mouse/keyboard: hald running. Assigning this one to Arvin to do the appropriate changes. Adding Steffen to Cc. I think he's packaging the sample xorg.conf. Reminder for X team: If /dev/fb0 doesn't exist, i.e kernel framebuffer not available, Xorg must not fail, but instead use vesa driver. The driver fallback order is already fixed. Anyway, opposed to what I said before, we need a minimalistic xorg.conf. :-( It will look similar to that. Just tested this image.
