SKIP_CHECKS=yes compiz-manager --replace
works. I don't really care about compiz and I'm not going to use it (doesn't work well with tablet input devices), but I had to try to reproduce a bug on it. Feel free to re-close, or investigate what's enable compiz to be started after logout -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Please check if you have SKIP_CHECKS=yes in ~/.config/compiz/compiz-manager.
I do. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

From comment #1 and #10:
"Blacklisted PCIID '8086:2a02' found SKIP_CHECKS is yes, so continuing despite problems." This is the reason compiz starts after logging off and manually running "SKIP_CHECKS=yes compiz-manager --replace" Compiz will now not start unless user specifies to SKIP_CHECKS prompted by simple-ccsm on unsupported hardwares. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
