Please give me the output of the following command: rpm -q --qf '%{VERSION}-%{RELEASE} %{ARCH} %{VENDOR}\n' What happens when you run "socksify zypper refresh" without setting ZYPP_ARIA2C=0 ? aria2 does not have native SOCKS support, nor has it ever been requested upstream. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

rpm -q --qf '%{VERSION}-%{RELEASE} %{ARCH} %{VENDOR}\n' aria2 1.8.2-0.1.1 x86_64 openSUSE
If I use "socksify zypper refresh" without setting ZYPP_ARIA2C=0 then the command just hangs. It appears that zypper is execing aria2 in such a way that the settings of sockisfy to replace the IP stack aren't getting propagated. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
