I cannot controll the screen brightness manually. The FN-Keys do not work, However, I get to see an on screen display. The Brightness slider in the KDE power management plasmoid does not work either. Also xbacklight -/+10 doesn't change anything. In case that I boot the systhe when the battery is low the screen is dimmed by startup. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Try to change the screen resolution with FN keys 2.Try to use the brightness slider 3.ty to use xbacklight The affected device is a ASUS UL30vt Actual Results: The Brightness doe not change in any way. Can you control the backlight level via 'xbacklight'?
As I wrote not. For some reasons it changes nothing.
