[Bug 1208945] Unlocking screen impossible after repeated password failures
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1208945 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1208945#c5 --- Comment #5 from Fabian Vogt <fabian@ritter-vogt.de> --- (In reply to Luigi Baldoni from comment #4)
As a matter of fact I did that last time the problem occurred.
The only warning I couldn't understand is: kioslave5[15897]: kf.kio.slaves.http: MD5 checksum MISMATCH! Expected: "<something>==" , Got: "<something>"
I can't even see failed login attempts, the last entry mentioning pam_unix shows the subsequent console login.
From what I can tell, sddm uses sd-pam for authentication, perhaps I need to enable systemd debug logging?
pam_systemd shouldn't be involved in PAM authentication, only with PAM sessions which kscreenlocker doesn't perform. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
