Did the following: yast2 disk -> opened subtree Volume Management -> opened subtree /dev/vgr10 -> selected /dev/vgr10 -> tab Overview -> Resize and then I got "Resize Volume Group error" as the title of the windows, the list of available PVs and selected PVs is empty. This seems to happen only on old PVs/VGs from 10.2. Newly created VGs seem to work. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Maybe some incompatibility crept in. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I do not know if the original LV setup was version 1 based. How can I detect this using the CLI tools? Is this the "Format" field of vgdisplay? At least on one of the two boxes that show the bug (I cannot reach the other one right now) this field shows "lvm2". -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Seems to depend on the name of the volume group (ending with a number). Some internal function is used incorrectly. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
