[Bug 304688] New: yast2-users gives perl warnings
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=304688#c1 Summary: yast2-users gives perl warnings Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Beta 2 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: jsuchome@novell.com ReportedBy: aj@novell.com QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- Leaving yast2-users I got this warning: Use of uninitialized value in substr at /usr/lib/YaST2/servers_non_y2/ag_passwd line 88, <SHADOW> line 21 (#1) (W uninitialized) An undefined value was used as if it were already defined. It was interpreted as a "" or a 0, but maybe it was a mistake. To suppress this warning assign a defined value to your variables. To help you figure out what was undefined, perl tells you what operation you used the undefined value in. Note, however, that perl optimizes your program and the operation displayed in the warning may not necessarily appear literally in your program. For example, "that $foo" is usually optimized into "that " . $foo, and the warning will refer to the concatenation (.) operator, even though there is no . in your program. Use of uninitialized value in string eq at /usr/lib/YaST2/servers_non_y2/ag_passwd line 97, <SHADOW> line 21 (#1) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
