However that just adds one more plugin to load in /usr/bin/gnome-wm. I have 10.3 Alpha 5, running compiz and it doesn't have any problem executing xdg-su and it shows $GNOME_DESKTOP_SESSION_ID = Default. This is causing bug #299436. I only see this if accessibility is turned on when I boot. The fix to move the accessibility initialization later on in the gnome-session code past the initialization of GNOME_DESKTOP_SESSSION_ID appears to fix this.
