Burned to a DVD+R and rebooted. Ran Check Media OK. Then an error occured during start up (I was out of room, so cannot say how far it got of that I had no way to copy.

Also sdc is spare drive, not used at this time. My normal boot is from sdb2. If I remember right sda and sdb MBRs have generic code in them. sdd does have small windows partition with the MyBook software. -- Russ It appears the install is seeing sdd as bootable evn though the only bootable partition on it is Windows. just a comment. i'll download the next build when its available and test it. This morning I tried boot Live CD again, agot same error (Failed to find MBR Identifier) but it actually searched sdd for a while first. Why is it looking at sdd which is an external usb drive? I use Grub2 and my normal default is sdb. Boot is located in the root directory.
