[Bug 653487] New: Gnome-do sometimes pops up at session start
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=653487 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=653487#c0 Summary: Gnome-do sometimes pops up at session start Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Milestone 3 of 6 Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: badshah400@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:2.0b7) Gecko/20101105 Firefox/4.0b7 Enabling GNOME-do at start-up by default is great since it is a nice tool, etc. But it is annoying when gnome-do's dashboard window shows up as soon as you login. This happens at random, but when it does, it stays up there preventing the screensaver, etc. I believe that this means the gnome-do-quiet-autostart.patch [1] is not working very well. Gnome-do has an option to do quiet-launching in its preferences, and enabling this on the other hand works flawlessly always. Perhaps we should enable this by default?
