After a fresh install of openSUSE 11 x86 from the gnome live cd installer, I enabled Remote Administration in YAST. When I connect to vnchost:1, Xvnc launches but does not start XDM/GDM , instead I just get a black & white checkered screen. I have tried on several different machines the results are all the same.
