http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=617215 http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=617215#c0 Summary: ksysguard and ksysguardd consume nearly 100% of a CPU each Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: RC 1 Platform: x86 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Workspace AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: pablo@blueoakdb.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created an attachment (id=371610) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=371610) backtrace User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.2.4) Gecko/20100611 SUSE/3.6.4-6.1 Firefox/3.6.4 The latest version of ksysguard [1], when run consumes nearly 100% of one of my CPU's. `ksysguardd' consumes about 75% of the other CPU. When exiting `ksysguard', `kded' produces a stack trace - see attached. [1] kdebase4-workspace-4.4.3-3.5.i586 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install `kdebase4-workspace' 2. As root, `chkconfig ksysguardd on' and start it: `/etc/init.d/ksysguardd start' 3. As non-root, type `ksysguard' and in a separate window, type `top' to witness heavy CPU usage. Actual Results: Heavy CPU utilization. Expected Results: On `openSUSE 11.1', `ksysguard' uses less than 2% CPU. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
