[Bug 997274] /usr/bin/pinentry delegates to pinentry-curses rather than pinentry-qt4 when running under KDE
http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=997274 http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=997274#c1 Přemysl Janouch <premysl.janouch@suse.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |steve@srevilak.net Flags| |needinfo?(steve@srevilak.ne | |t) --- Comment #1 from Přemysl Janouch <premysl.janouch@suse.com> --- That's strange because Leap's /usr/bin/pinentry continues with:
# otherwise test if pinentry-qt4 exists although KDE is not detected elif [ -n "$DISPLAY" -a -f /usr/bin/pinentry-qt4 ] then export PINENTRY_BINARY="/usr/bin/pinentry-qt4"
And you're not running Wayland, are you? I've just installed the kde pattern and run "pinentry" and it normally launched pinentry-qt4, so I'm not sure if your patch actually does anything. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
