Without adding `nomodeset` the installer hangs on `Probing USB devices`. See https://forums.opensuse.org/showthread.php/578050-Installation-hangs-at-quot... for the system details and the workaround I used, at the end I have installed Tumbleweed on the system and enabled the nvidia driver.
