This cannot work. Please use for KDE:Extra the following repo http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/KDE:/Extra/openSUSE_12.1/ Closing as invalid. I erroneously clicked on the wrong FreeCAD Version (tumbleweed but 12.1). After installing FreeCAD from the right repo it starts up but I get an openGL error: Arch workbench activated FreeCAD: gl.cpp:2389: const cc_glglue* cc_glglue_instance(int): Assertion `gi->versionstr && "could not call glGetString() -- no current GL context?"' failed. But the nvidia drivers are working an glxgears is running. But did you make sure that also all other packages which were installed form the KDE:Extra-Tumbleweed repo were changed to the correct KDE:Extra repo? E.g.
