[Bug 351080] New: no easy way to update/add _agregate 'd files
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=351080 Summary: no easy way to update/add _agregate 'd files Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: BuildService AssignedTo: abauer@novell.com ReportedBy: crrodriguez@novell.com QAContact: adrian@novell.com Found By: Development everytime you add a new build target, you have to manually update all your _aggregate files, while this is easy to do,when you mantain a few packages, it is a royal pain in the back when you have mantain lot of packages. Currently the obs does not offer any easy way to create _aggreate via the web interface. will be nice if some improvements can be made in this area. for a real use case, see server:php:extensions where there are a few non-standard build targets and 14 aggregate packages ( and raising) ... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Another reason, why you have this problem is that your base project does use non-standard(or not the same) repo names. If you would use the same, there would be no reason to update these files. aggregate is IMHO misused here, it will also affect your quota later on, you should build against the other repos directly to avoid these problems and to reduce the required space on the mirrors. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
