https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=249870 Summary: No sound on Lenovo 3000 C200 laptop with open SUSE 10.2 Product: openSUSE 10.2 Version: Final Platform: x86 OS/Version: SuSE Other Status: NEW Severity: Critical Priority: P5 - None Component: Sound AssignedTo: tiwai@novell.com ReportedBy: kiss.denes@aritma.hu QAContact: qa@suse.de Lenovo 3000 C200 Laptop has Realtek ID 862 sound chipset, that is Intel HDA compatible.? There is no sound at all. I tried to compile the Realtek linux driver source. It seems to be perfect. The musik player works, but no sound at all. The hardware should be good, because the XT has perfect sound with its Realtek driver. Alsasound is workig. No mute. But not a single sound. What the hell can it be? Try openSUSE 10.3-alpha although the support of HD-audio stuff on this kernel isn't perfect yet. The better support is expected on 2.6.21 kernel. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
