I am told there is no CURRENT way of restricting them. I am told that the new version of Beagle has an switch which enables limitation of the size and number and growth of this directory's files. I mention this as a bug as I just deleted 7,000 odd files consuming almost 700 Meg of HDD and I am sorry the HDD does not go on forever especially in laptops. I also feel that any application that stores information in numerous files always needs the facility of constraint and or retention - neither of which are currently present. Please constrain the number of files in 10.3 release or possible online fix.
