The only thing that doesn't work is sax adding the stuff from the profile to the configuration. The required options are not handled by sax2 for keyboards. I have added the options to the "allowed" options list and tested it my personal opinion about evdev: It's not stable and it doesn't deserve to be part of something we call stable.
