[Bug 555686] New: amarok playback hangs with gstreamer phonon backend
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=555686 Summary: amarok playback hangs with gstreamer phonon backend Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.2 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE4 Applications AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: bernd.paysan@gmx.de QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- --- Comment #0 from Bernd Paysan <bernd.paysan@gmx.de> 2009-11-16 00:25:39 UTC --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (compatible; Konqueror/4.3; Linux; de) KHTML/4.3.3 (like Gecko) SUSE I can only play one song with Amarok through phonon with the gstreamer backend. Changing the backend to xine cures the problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Put two or more songs into the Amarok playlist 2. Start playing the first, press "skip" button for next song. 3. Quit Amarok and restart - then you can again play one song. Actual Results: First song plays fine (MP3 and Ogg), second song and further just hangs. Sometimes, Amarok resumes when some other client (like Flash) uses the audio backend. Expected Results: All songs should play, without restarting Amarok. This works fine with the optional xine backend, but not with the default gstreamer backend. I'm using a emu10k1 sound card - haven't tried with other sound cards if it's the same there. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
