https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=750997 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=750997#c0 Summary: eject -T works only with empty tray in KDE Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 12.1 Version: Final Platform: i586 OS/Version: openSUSE 12.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Basesystem AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: vy@samiznaetekogo.net QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux i686; rv:10.0.2) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/10.0.2 eject -T works only with empty tray in KDE. If user loads disk, then after disk was recognized by KDE device automounter, eject -T fails with "ioctl: Input/output error". User will need to open tray using drive controls, remove disk and close tray using drive controls. After that eject -T will work again. It may to be connected to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/eject/+bug/91873, but I'm not sure. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. open drive tray using eject -T (usually a hotkey) 2. put any disk in 3. close drive tray using eject -T (usually a hotkey) 4. wait for KDE device automounter notification about new media. 5. try to open drive tray again Actual Results: eject -T fails with "ioctl: Input/output error" Expected Results: drive tray open -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
