This makes column 3 (summary) only 14 chars + ... wide, much too small for a meaningful summary, while column 4 (version), which is useless anyway and more than twice width of summary, much too wide. Booted with vga=0x305 on installation kernel's grub line, so presumably YaST is running 1024x768. I'm not sure there's any point to have a Version column at all during installation. What might that be? Surely it must exist post-installation, but couldn't it be hidden during installation? First, Size must be pulled to Version, then Version must be pulled from Summary. Any other sequence fails to increase Summary column width. Also, pulling Version too far from Summary causes it to snap back to the original width. Do you have screenshots?
I didn't take any at the time of installation that resulted in my filing this bug. For details see bug #441828. I guess an invisible line that contains a long package name leads to the result shown by the screenshot.
