CodeAnalyst has been failing to build in Factory for a long time

By the way, the metadata of the package says:

I couldn't assign it to suravee since bugzilla didn't recognise the email.

The latest version is 3.4 and we are packaging 2.12.3. And in general from the Changelog it doesn't look like there is any real main maintainer.

Could you please clean the metadata with the correct, updated information. Or drop the package if nobody is really maintaining it?

I've tried to get Suravee@AMD (who requested the package) to take an active ownership role without success. I'll take a look at the issue next week. We should decide (since noone actually maintains the package in terms of updates) if it makes sense to continue including it. If you could branch and update/fix CodeAnalyst it would prove you are a valid candidate. Then just ask for maintainership in one of:

It would prove you have basic package management skills. Code Analyst is a performance analysis tool layered over oprofile (a separate package I maintain). So my answer is more involved than above. In addition to having the package management skills to update the package to the latest upstream version, it would be good if you had an interest in the performance analysis area.
