[Bug 1194717] New: windows:mingw:win{32|64}:mingwxx-atkmm: Could not specify different version of a development dependency
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1194717 Bug ID: 1194717 Summary: windows:mingw:win{32|64}:mingwxx-atkmm: Could not specify different version of a development dependency Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE.org Version: unspecified Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: 3rd party software Assignee: fstrba@suse.com Reporter: ralf.habacker@freenet.de QA Contact: screening-team-bugs@suse.de CC: fridrich.strba@bluewin.ch, hib@hiberis.nl, mkbosmans@gmail.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- The package in question cannot use the updated dependency version for glibmm2 (https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/windows:mingw:win32/mingw32-glibmm2) and requires the previous mingw32-glibmm2-devel = 2.56.0. Although this version is present (https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/windows:/mingw:/win32/openSUSE_Le...) and various "provides" are present (https://build.opensuse.org/package/binary/windows:mingw:win32/mingw32-glibmm...), the package cannot be used as a dependency. It always appears unresolvable: nothing provides mingw32-glibmm2-devel = 2.56.0 (got version 2.68.2-lp152.4.1) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1194717 http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1194717#c1 --- Comment #1 from Ralf Habacker <ralf.habacker@freenet.de> --- A workaround, which is also used by the native `openSUSE:Factory/glibmm2_4` package, is to use a different package name `mingw32-glibmm2_4`. Then using `mingw32(lib:glibmm-2.4)` and mingw32(pkg:glibmm-2.4) as dependencies again works as expected. It looks like on running osc build ... the build info https://api.opensuse.org/build/windows:mingw:win32/openSUSE_Leap_15.2/x86_64/mingw32-atkmm/_buildinfo?add=vim&add=mc&add=gdb&add=strace&add=git&add=zypper&add=sudo&add=quilt&add=gdb&add=vim&add=strace&add=rzsz&add=telnet-server&add=net-tools&add=iproute2) query contains an error here. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
