That patch is imperfect. + schedule_timeout(HZ/10); should be + schedule_timeout_uninterruptible(HZ/10);
Good catch, I'll update the patch for stable/master branches.
There is a similar bug in fscache_object_sleep_till_congested()
Care to report both issues to upstream? Thanks. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

they are found in users/tiwai/SLE12-SP2/for-update branch.
Ahhh, I see. Still, it seems less than ideal that anyone use autofs on SP2 GM will likely get BUG: sleeping function called from invalid context warnings... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

If these fixes are 100% safe to apply to GM, no problem to take them. If you're confident, please just talk to release managers. The P1-only is merely a basic rule, and a rule has always an exception :) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.

What's the status for Leap here? Will we have the fix?
I don't see this bug anymore in 42.2 kernel version 4.4.22. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
